about
Dorothée Thomson is a self-taught photographer based in Paris. She works with both digital and analog techniques, guided by a quiet, contemplative approach and a sensitivity to muted tones and natural light. Her images explore the interplay of atmosphere and detail, where subtle gestures and textures speak with depth.
Moving fluidly between portraiture, still life, and documentary work, Dorothée’s photography often centers on themes of motherhood, womanhood, and intimacy. She also develops creative projects with a narrative dimension, blending authenticity with a refined, cinematic sensibility. Whether capturing everyday fragments or more constructed moments, her work invites warmth, resonance, and timeless reflection.
Available worldwide for personal, editorial and commercial work.
